ReplyDelete@ all of you ladies saying you would beat up the child, the ist thing that should cross your mind is if you were a good mother and gave your daughter proper home training. cos most times, some mothers are meant to be blamed. so if a 12yr old comes home pregnant, d mother ist of all has questions to answer to before crucifying the child.
ReplyDeletehmmm...i completely disagree! yes sound home training is essential and if trained properly the kid wont be involved in such frivolity. but hey, sound home training doesn't depend on the mother alone! it should be a two way thing from the parents....its really shallow to think mothers must take the blame for every irresponsible act(not being rude btw). but if both parents strive hard enough to train the kids then such acts could possibly be minimal. honestly, most tyms(often Nigerian parents) lack good communication with their kids when growing up.....this is sooo wrong especially when they are getting to that adolescent age. parents should try and be more friendly, carry them along on neccessary infos rather than create fear to the poor little children. nothing is more disheartning for a kid who fears to go home or enjoys his/her friends house more than theirs! :) #justmythought

I would be so dissapointed and furioius dat ma lil baby's now carrying a baby,beating won't solve d problem, she'll give birth n nurture d child so she knws its responsibility to be a mother, when d child is say a year old she can go bck 2 sch, as as for the her baby daddy he's in trouble n has got to pay his dues he's responsible so he'll take care n provide 4 d child.
ReplyDeleteI won't do anytn terrible 2 my child cos I knw hw it feels. I got pregnt at 16 n trst me my moda almst killed me. She took me 4 an abrtn but I was 4 mnths gone, it wasn't advisable. She stopped talkn 2 me, n my siblings weren't vry friendly eida. I was a reproach. I am 32 years old nw,a doctor may I add.My boy is 16, he was d best student in his skool and has gottn a scholarship 2 a uni abroad.he is my joy, my pride am glad I didn't abrt him. Parents ps dnt get 2 upset, dat child cud be a blessing.I was a write off, nw people in my neighbourhood cover deir faces in shame. I am also married with children.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmm Miss Bee, it took me a while to respond because i thought of the rush of emotions that would go through my mind and head. To be honest after enough yaps i would have to face reality and embrace being a grandmother!!!! The funny thing is that babies had through this means turn out to be great people. I would still beat shege out of her body o. Infact let me quickly reject it and ensure i give my daughter all the proper education she needs so that being pregnant at 12 wouldn't be an issue(not forgetting major prayers)

DeleteToo many emotions running through my head, I'm thinking I'll kill her etc but honestly its myself I would want to kill. For my 12 year old daughter to be preggers then I must have failed as a mother. That said I don't know if I would let her have the child o! My baby can't be having a baby nau!!!!!! OMG Bisodun pls don't be asking this kind of question. I don't even want to think about it and by God's grace my children would only bring pride and joy not shame and reproach IJN.

ReplyDeleteAm actually short of words,a Baby having a baby...firstly,i will try to stay calm to no wat to do, cause at dat point spiting fire and brimstone will not change a a thing.I think shockingly, i will opt for an abortion.God forgive me and the idiot that got her pregnant will see hell or earth.i pray my 12yrs old daughter will become a better person and forge ahead.definately she will face my wrought for disappointing me...
